‘Space+Time’, the first part of the Binary Coalescence Project by Aiv Puglielli, is a direct creative response to the research of world-leading astrophysicist Dr Linqing Wen, following virtual interviews facilitated via artists in Mandarin and English. The work explores the first principle understanding of the idea of ‘binary coalescence’ in astronomy, as observed in the research of gravitational waves and the origins of the universe.
